Our People
We are a people business and understand the importance of relationships. Our team includes Chartered Financial Planners, Chartered Accountants and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
In July 2023 Söderberg & Partners Group acquired a minority stake in the firm which provides long-term security for our employees and clients alike.
Our Team
Christine is a highly experienced group risk and protection specialist. She manages a large number of group life and medical insurance schemes for a wide range of clients including some well known charities and educational establishments.
Christine Aston
Jeremy is a Chartered Financial Planner and works as a senior paraplanner supporting other Chartered Financial Planners within the firm. He gained his experience working for a number of local independent advice firms in and around Cambridge before joining Dartington in 2023.
Jeremy Bevens
Robert is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Accountant. He trained at Ernst & Young and worked at Anderson, Deloitte and Grant Thornton where he developed their asset allocation models and investment approach. He joined Dartington in 2022 and designed our current in-house investment proposition.
Robert Beardsmore
Glen is an expert in workplace benefits with a wealth of career experiences. Before joining Dartington in July 2021, Glen's roles included being the Head of Corporate Benefits at Bluefin and a Board Director of Employee Benefits at Capita Employee Solutions.
Glen Campbell
Sandra is a highly experienced financial administrator working within our client services team providing day to day clerical support to our financial advisers and their clients. Before Joining Dartington Sandra gained her experience working for one of the UK's largest wealth managers
Sandra Claydon
Andrew is a Chartered Financial Planner. After graduating with an honours degree in Economics from the University of Bristol, Andrew worked in investment banking for 8 years before joining Dartington in 2020. He was appointed CEO in July 2023 and specialises in pension transfers and investment advice.
Andrew Coury
Jacqui is responsible for helping co-ordinate our day to day client servicing and administration, supporting our Chartered advisers in delivering ongoing financial planning and wealth management services. Before joining Dartington in 2016 she worked over 30 years in client facing roles at HSBC.
Jacqui Crow
After graduating with an honours degree in Business & Finance from Coventry University, Nick trained as a mortgage and equity release adviser. After 10 years working within agencies, he joined Dartington in June 2021. Nick specialises in providing mortgage, equity release and protection planning advice.
Nick Leith
After graduating in 2023 with an honours degree in Finance from the University of Loughborough, Alastair joined Dartington on a graduate trainee programme to train as a Chartered Financial Planner. Alastair is also a keen sportsman, having captained his University football team.
Alastair MacArthur
Maxine is a Certified Accountant, holds the Diploma in Financial Planning, the Investment Management Certificate, STEP Diploma in Trust & Estates, Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice, and the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release. She joined Dartington in 2024 as a senior paraplanner.
Maxine Parris
Sam is a Chartered Financial Planner with a 1st in Economics from the University of East Anglia. After a period of work experience in 2017, Sam joined Dartington as a graduate in July 2018. Sam specialises in pension transfers and financial advice for individuals getting divorced.
Sam Pettican-Runnicles
After graduating with an honours degree in Economics from Durham University, Rachel trained as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young before moving into Private Equity and Asset Management. She joined Dartington in March 2020 and specialises in tax-planning and tax-mitigation strategies.
Rachel Rutherford
After graduating from the University of Stirling with an honours degree in Sports Sciences, Chris trained as a paraplanner and is now a qualified Financial Planner. He also has the level 4 Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management. Chris is currently assistant financial planner (to Rachel Rutherford).
Chris Tulloch
Matt has an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Bath. After qualifying he spent several years working in accountancy and then mortgage advice. Having previously worked at Lee & Co. and Money Wise, Matt has been with Dartington since it was founded and now runs our operations team.
Matt Walder
Claire is a Chartered Financial Planner with an MBA from the University of Cambridge. She was “Young IFA of the Year” in the Unbiased Awards 2014 and “IFA Personality of the Year” at the Professional Adviser Awards 2016. Claire joined Dartington in 2023 and specialises in holistic financial planning.

Matt is a Chartered Financial Planner with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton. After six years of training and experience at Cantab Asset Management he joined Dartington in May 2023. Matt specialises in investment planning strategies.
Matthew Wheeler
Tony has an Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. He originally trained at the Aviva Academy and has since dedicated his career to business administrator. Tony joined Dartington’s client services team in 2024.
Tony Woolnough
Stephen has an Honours degree in Finance & Investment from the University of Brighton and worked in investment management before joining Dartington, including posts at Hargreaves Lansdowne and Tilney.
