Our Directors

Andrew Coury

Coury

Andrew is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst. After graduating with an honours degree in Economics from the University of Bristol, Andrew worked in investment banking as an equity analyst for 8 years, starting at Bloomberg and then Liberum Capital, before joining Dartington in June 2020. He was appointed CEO in July 2023 and specialises in pension transfers and investment advice.

Malcolm Coury

Malcolm is our founder and Chairman. He has worked in financial services over 40 years. His career started in 1983 at Financial Planning Service (FPS) and he went on to found Money Wise IFA Limited in 1997. Malcolm was also a founding director of the Investment Funds Direct Group between 2004 and 2010 – the company that launched the Ascentric investment platform in 2005 that was acquired by Royal London in 2007 and subsequently by M&G in 2020.

Joakim Strandberg

Joakim started his career in Merchant Banking and pension consultancy in Sweden. He went on to be one of the founding partners of Soderberg & Partners (S&P) based in Stockholm, Sweden. S&P now offices throughout the Nordics and much of Europe. Joakim is currently Head of Advisory workstream for S&P’s wealth management expansion in the UK and joined the board of Dartington in 2023.

Andrew joined Dartington in 2024 as a result of the acquisition of Provisio, the firm he set up and developed over 20 years. He brings with him a wealth of experience having been an IFA for over 35 years working almost exclusively with high net worth clients referred to him by accountants and solicitors.

Shane Bingley

Shane is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance society. After working in the financial sector for 20 years, Shane became a financial adviser in 2010, he joined Provisio Wealth Management in 2016 which was acquired by Dartington in 2024.
Glen Campbell

Campbell

Glen is an expert in workplace benefits with a wealth of career experiences. Before joining Dartington in July 2021, Glen’s roles included being the Head of Corporate Benefits at Bluefin and a Board Director of Employee Benefits at Capita Employee Solutions.
Nick Leith

Leith

After graduating with an honours degree in Business & Finance from Coventry University, Nick trained as a mortgage and equity release adviser. After 10 years working within agencies, he joined Dartington in June 2021 and specialises in providing mortgage, equity release and protection planning advice.

Rachel Rutherford

Rutherford

Rachel is a Chartered Accountant. After graduating with an honours degree in Economics from Durham University, Rachel qualified at Ernst & Young before moving into Private Equity and Asset Management. She joined Dartington in 2020 and specialises in tax-planning and tax-mitigation strategies.

Sam Pettican-
Runnicles

Sam is a Chartered Financial Planner with a First in Economics from the University of East Anglia. Sam joined Dartington in 2018 and specialises in complex pension planning and wealth structuring for individuals, families and trustees.

Colin
Thompson

Colin has an honours degree in Business Information Systems from the University of East Anglia. He has been working in financial services for almost 30 years and started advising clients in 2006 when working with Provisio Wealth Management which was acquired by Dartington in 2024.

Chris
Tulloch

After graduating from the University of Stirling with an honours degree in Sports Sciences, Chris trained as a paraplanner. Chris joined Dartington in 2022 and is now a qualified Financial Planner and also has the level 4 Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management.

James
Worthington

James joined Dartington in 2025 having been working in financial services for over 20 years. He started his career in retail and commercial banking before qualifying as a financial planner in 2020. James is studying to achieve the status of Chartered Financial Planner and the certificate in discretionary investment management, long term care planning and trusts.

Christine is a highly experienced group risk and protection specialist. She manages a large number of group life and medical insurance schemes for a wide range of clients including some well known charities and educational establishments.
Robert Beardsmore

Robert
Beardsmore

Robert is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Accountant. He trained at Ernst & Young and at Anderson, Deloitte and Grant Thornton he was responsible for designing their asset allocation models. He joined Dartington in 2022 and oversees the Dartington ‘Core Passive’ investment portfolios.

Bevens

Jeremy is a Chartered Financial Planner and works as a senior paraplanner supporting other Chartered Financial Planners within the firm. He gained his experience working for a number of local independent advice firms in and around Cambridge before joining Dartington in 2023.

Nic
Christodoulou

Nic has a first-class honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham. He is currently studying for the Diploma in Financial Planning as part of his training to become a Chartered Financial Planner. Previously, Nic was a Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in the Financial Services.

Sandra is a highly experienced financial administrator working within our client services team providing day to day clerical support to our financial advisers and their clients. Before joining Dartington Sandra gained her experience working for one of the UK’s largest wealth managers

Lucia Cook

Lucia
Cook

Lucia is a Certified Paraplanner with over 20 years experience. She was a Senior Administrator in Employee Benefits and a IFA Support Consultant at Friends Life before joining Provisio in 2015 which was acquired by Dartington in 2024. She is currently completing her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Jacqui
Crow

Jacqui is responsible for helping co-ordinate our day to day client servicing and administration, supporting our Chartered advisers in delivering ongoing financial planning and wealth management services. Before joining Dartington in 2016 she worked over 30 years in client facing roles at HSBC.

Katy
Mercer

Katy graduated from the University of Chichester with an Honours degree in Outdoor and Adventure Education. Having spent 5 years working in the private education sector coordinating outdoor pursuits, she joined Dartington in 2025 to pursue a career in Financial Services. Katy is our receptionist and part of the client service team supporting our financial advisers and paraplanners.
Maxine Parris

Maxine is a Certified Accountant, holds the Diploma in Financial Planning, the Investment Management Certificate, STEP Diploma in Trust & Estates, Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice, and the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release. She joined Dartington in 2024 as a senior paraplanner.

Sharon is a very experienced financial services administrator working with our client services team providing support to advisers and their clients. She spent over 18 years working at Provisio Wealth Management before it was acquired by Dartington in 2024.
Helen Santini

Helen is a fully qualified Deloitte trained ACA Chartered Accountant. Helen joined Dartington in 2025 in the role of financial controller. Her functions include managing the day-to-day financial controls, analysis, reporting, business process reviews, external and internal auditing for the firm.

Kelly

Kelly joined Dartington in 2025 as a paraplanner after gaining experience in another local firm for 4 ½ years. Kelly holds the Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) and is currently working towards achieving her Chartered Status (Level 6). Her longer-term goal is to become a Chartered Financial Planner.

Matt has an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Bath. He spent several years working in accountancy and mortgage advice before joining Lee & Co. that was acquired by Money Wise in 2009 and then Dartington in 2016. Matt now runs our operations team with particular emphasis on systems and IT.

Tony Woolnough

Woolnough

Tony has an Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. He originally trained at the Aviva Academy and has since dedicated his career to business administration. Tony joined Dartington’s client services team in 2024.
